Anticipation is a must

Hello to everyone,
Yesterday went great at the rehearsal
space, all of the digital drum kits i built sounded great (with Tom
playing them they sounded way better), Sanders Boss Pedal just fitted
right in there, him being able to switch between all his sounds by
himself was great (I hate having control over everything !).

For me the best thing was hearing my tracks purely played by only human
beings ( a first i might add) and the mistakes were awesome too !!!

Toms drumming was min… Continue

A crash course in Everything

Hello everyone, the new versions of the tracks are slightly on the late
side, but theres plenty of good reasons for that. And of course they
all have to do with music (and a cold that refuses to go away).
Its
been a very busy week, and i had no clue what i was getting myself into
in the previous week when i asked Tom (hector Sector) to leave his
Roland Digital drum kit here for two days. You see i needed to make
Digital Drum kits in Ableton Live so Tom can play them Live. Well i
almost bit… Continue

Falling Into Place...

Hello to everyone, here's an update of the Hall of Fame performance and A general Androgene Collective Update.

The show at the hall of fame went great !!! It was a night of variety,
Ikiru playing his acoustic Compositions on Guitar, Dr.Bibber bringing a
good laugh with his obscene behaviour, Darker And Levi put down an
awesome set combining Live artwork with Darkers music. It was great to
see art created on music and music made from art. Check it out if you
get the chance. Th

Silence isn't actually That Bad..

Silence actually isn't that bad after you've only heard music for 10
hours !!, the good part of that is more final material getting close to
the finished stage.
That's 3 new tracks coming online within the
next 2 weeks. I am going to play them live this Friday, its nice to
experiment Live in a stage situation before I actually finish a track
for the "Big wide world". So that brings the Live set listing now to
around 9 songs and 5 electronic instrumentals (2 new ones will be

Back to The Place where I know It all Started

Hello to everyone,
Things are getting better, things are
falling into place, or maybe I'm just getting back to how all this
started. The show in the ACU went well (Outside of the problems with
the sound), it was a great place to be in with a great vibe.
It
felt good to perform, it felt good to be alive, I'm grateful as ever
for all the people who came and helped me out with all the gear and set
up at show time.
I did two new tracks "The deciding factor"
and "Alone

Hi Guys,

Glad you like the articles – I’m currently beavering away on a Mastering feature for than January issue (I think?...things do have a habit of changing at the last minute!), which offers some interesting new ways of looking at the subject area. That’s certainly a good suggestion of yours, and an approach that seems to be becoming increasingly commonplace. As for coverage, the Laptops Live feature in MTM21 http://www.musictechmag.co.uk/mtm/features/laptops-live did pick up on the ‘laptop band’ concept, although I think it would be cool to do a whole piece on it in the future. I’m not sure if you’ve seen it, but MainStage is certainly a really interesting development in this area, and something I can’t wait to use live on stage.

Nice to hear from you, and keep up the good work!
