Now, let's see... I just graduated from Boston's Berklee College of Music. I live, love and breathe music. It consumes me. I have done almost everything with it, from writing, coming up with melodies or beats, arranged and even produced. I self-released The Way of the Door last October, which was my first real record (I tried several times before to do something, but didn't have the skills...and even listening back now to my debut it's sometimes hard to listen to, but you live, you learn, right?), and actually got a good response from the independent community; "Love is a Game" was the big single and got a lot of attention for me, including two awards/nominations for Best Dance Single. It was also given remixing by the international duo Klubjumpers, who've done a lot and had a lot of Billboard Dance #1s, so it was a great thing to have them come to me with their offer. I started work on a new record some time ago, but only got the main part of an album done the last couple months. It is called In One Ear, Not Out the Other because it's like "Listen to it and love it, or else," and it's much different than my first. On The Way of the Door I was merely trying to show and prove it to everyone that I could sing, write and produce all of it myself (to get respect as a new artist), whereas this time around it's not only much, much better, but waaaaay commercial in comparison. It's got a lot of contemporary beats, sounds and even the way I sing it, but it's still genuinely how a Chris Eberlein record should be.

Pertaining to "Love Inflicted 2"

This is the first take I did of the vocals to my song "Love-Inflicted" and I'll be the first to say there's a spot in the 2nd verse where I go off...I know, I know, for some reason my playback in my ears went off key due to a glitch and so I just happened to try to sing what I thought! So forgive me for that mistake guys!

Debut CD has dropped on iTunes

iTunes has just released the iTunes edition of The Way of the Door, my debut CD. The CD edition drops on October 14th and includes a revamped version of my dance single "What You're Doing (To Me)"--both are $10.
