Learn Your Kit - RF n' all that

I'm just recovering from working at "The Big Reunion" music festival, and I was quite dissapointed with some of the soundies that were working there. I'm trying to figure out when I last had to time to sit down and put my 10 digits into the computer's binary digits, but it's been a while. That's one of the hardest things about being a freelance sound engineer, the work rate is very uncontrollable sometimes - "feast or famine" is a common phrase, and it's about right. There

One of those days....

It's fantastic the way in which technology has developed to allow us to record and produce music on a restricted budget and in the comfort of our own homes. I also still find it so frustrating when this technology all goes slightly wrong, and we are left flumoxed as to why things are no longer working - especially when we rely on this technology to bring in our income.

I'm a sound engineer - but today I've had to understand that a FAT32 drive won't
