Isn't there a limiter in them that protects the speaker? I have the cheap Beri-Beri rip-offs of the Mackies and they always limit when I drive 'em too hard (most of the time...LOL).
The only time I got a pop from one of them was when I (stupidly)...
haha not really, dont blast them,
but the left tweeter just fizzled then went dead
but there still under warranty for another 8 months so should be able to get it sorted.
I thought it would be unlikly that they have been driven to hard but would ...

Good to hear. Those user accounts can be a pain, but it's easy to see why they did it, considering most computers in schools/ workplaces etc are networked.
Vista gets bashed a lot, but most of it is street mythology. Like the RAM 'issue' for exam...
solved the problem!!!
it was vistas user control that was stopping it, only realised when I tried to wrap my vsts and it wouldnt work
