hey crease whats up my brother from overseas, how has everything ben going for ya? i hope all is well and things. i been trying to catch up wit ya but i know u been grinding so its cool but feel free to stop by my page i have a few new beats up and let me know what u think. im still taking drum lessons, the last beats uheard from me u had sid that the timing was getting loads better, so the drum lessosn are helping.lol. im just trying to progress not regress, i usually make 3-5 beats a week on my days off from work and school. but keep me posted on any new projects u have in the present and or future my dude. hope to hear from you soon.
been making beats for about 4 years now, i know what your saying about the drums, i actually made that whole beat using reason, usually i make a beat entirely with my mpc or if im making one using reason i record the drums to my computer, use ReCycle to slice out the individual parts of the drums then load the drums into DrRex loop player, so then i can use the reason instruments but keep the authentic sounding mpc drum beat. i have heaps of different ways of making beats, ive found if i create a beat soley with 1 program it sounds shit like the quick beat i threw together to upload to this site, but if i use a few different mediums i can come out with a really nice sounding beat and other producers that hear it dont know how ive made it, theyre like hmm it sounds like he made it with his mpc, but also sounds like he used reason, but also sounds like he used a vst in cubase, but also sounds like he has sampled from vinyl record. i seem to find that the more time you spend making a beat the better it will be, i can whip up an ok sounding beat in 2 mins on the drum machine but the beats i use on my albums are beats that ive spent a great deal of time putting together
Hey Crease, these hackers are getting cleverer by the minute, what with music having become a thought crime (you'd think investment bankers rather than musicians would be getting the attention by now, but we can't really blame them for taking advantage, the US current account deficit being at the root of the catastrophe). I did see your msg once, when I went back to it only the first line still exists... I took the hip-hop/Afrojazz fusion idea a little further but it's too busy to post yet, you'd be interested in some muso/producers here (eg Don Laka, Eric P), my guitar and bass parts are really from the local fusion/funk tradition but a little too busy for hip-hop. I have tried to produce everything including stuff I don't actually like (nope I don't know why either), the only places the original funk has survived are hip hop and fusion, with African and Latin ("Latin chord sunglass influence" as Yello once put it) twists getting the beat off the one sometimes. keep it up, I always believe I'll get back to it, so never say die...
Hi Crease. Finally got some tracks up. Hope you enjoy. From Tom Tom.

Oh yes, there's a hip hop crew of sorts with some good rhymes and fair beats, based at a college, using FL. Maybe, if and when I can find work, we will work together... Go well and don't let the gangsters in suits stress you out.
I see the site is attracting more people from over the pond, good stuff. Will be back, when I can get online already....
NICE BEATS ON THE PAGE!!! I LIKE EM!! STOP THRU AND CHECK OUT SOME OF OUR SONGS!!! WE ALSO HAVE BEATS YOU CAN CHECK OUT @ WWW.MUZIKHALLBEATS.COM!!! ******WWW.MUZIKHALLMUZIK.COM********
You can check some stuff out on myspace.com/luccianamusic. Nothing is mixed down on there. Its all uncut and raw right now. I am improving my mixing skills, so I can do the honors of mixing it myself. I have sent some material to other studios for the mix, and was not that satisfied for the money. Just got the mpc500, since I am back and forth from San Francisco to L.A. working on music.
Whats good! Thanks fro the ad. I see you making beats. Holla at me. I could use some. Maybe we can work something out. I am a young female producer, one of the few in SF, CA. Just trying to dorop something how real soon. Holla at me if you can help in the production.
