I have put together a comprehensive collection of sounds used to scratch with. (VV 5, traktor scratch, Scratch Live, Torq, Deckadance, Mix Vibes etc)
The sounds have been remastered, normalized and properly labeled/tagged. I was wondering if your label would be interested in releasing it.
*due to the amount of material, I was thinking about making the collection available for download in 320 kbps
The sounds are separated into the following categories
*tonal
*vocals over 7 sec
*vocals under 7 sec
*fx
*stabs
*bass
*drum hits-divided into subcategories (all drum hits sampled @ 32bit 96khz or higher- dithered via apogee uv22 to 320 kbps stereo mp3s 48khz)
**bd/kd
**sd
**hh/cym/crash
**misc. percussion
*animal sounds
*sweeps
*leads
*atmosphere
I call it The Scratch Dictionary.

Turntablism is where I'm at. Studying the greats, listening to the guys who are breaking the mold, staying on top of the technological innovation(specifically TC vinyl, midi control of the turntables). Hip Hop is my center, but I don't hesitate to blend genres in the persuit of a real special sound.
