How would you categorise your musical output?: Electro Rock.

What are your favourite pieces of studio hardware?: MSP7s, home stereo, PC, Maton guitar and Rhode NT2A.

Which Digital Audio Workstation application do you use?: SONAR 7 Producer Edition, Project 5, samplers.

What's your favourite digital instrument?: Z3TA, Rapture, Session Drummer 2, freeware synths etc.....

Who are your musical/production influences or heroes?: Jack Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and George Martin. I have always listened to a broad range of musical influences and have trained as a classical pianist.

I've been doing these recordings at home with the hope of completing a demo of my songs so that I might be able to get out and perform them live by the end of 2008. Any feedback on the quality of my mixes would be appreciated.

Hey man, thanks for the visit and the props on the music. I am glad that you liked the tracks, All three of the tracks have come about as a result of the Sample Frequency Suite Experiment.

A lot of people have visited the page and listened to the tracks, but, I think it might be far too much for them to understand the concepts. Not many people have actually ventured to make comments. LOL. I think it may have them baffled, either that or they think I must be a total madman.

Mind you, I have actually had some artists from the site requesting my help mixing and mastering their tracks since I put my tracks up. How do you figure that one ?

Have a look at Lewis G Edwards page to find out about SFS, also have a read of the SFS blogs, do a search on Sample, frequency, suite, throbber, ian, lewis.
This will explain what the tracks are all about.
