Mark Lee - The Violet Years

Hello all, I've decided to release a selection of some of my old tunes, or should I say "Retrospective". Yes, that sounds much cooler. Anyway, I've put three from the album on my page ('Eigth Wonder', 'Life Starts With an A' and 'Calypso Dream') if you would like to get the whole album(sixteen tracks), please keep an eye on my Juno page ; www.junodownload.com/labels/MLS digital

hi mark, thanks for the kind comments [you'll be making my head big with the acomplished musican comment] and i'm delighted you enjoyed my music, pleased to see your a user of swedens finest export [reason 3] i think it's a great bit of kitt and i use on just about everything, just had a listen to your tracks, nice work, great production and nice use of panning and effects, as for the drum and bass question you asked i did one track with my old band which you could call dnb but that was about it all the other stuff i've done in the past has been either been hard rock or metal [i played in a metal band many years ago which i was crap at by the way] trance techno and house, anyway thanks again and hope you keep in touch, all the best , darren [enemy within].

Hi Mark,

Thanks for being friends! "Nothing Doing" is a nice combination of sounds!

The 808 is not the hardware. I wish, as they say! They are good samples though, that I got from the MPC site. Don't know if they are still accessible there?

Tom
